Welcome

Healing doesn’t begin with fixing yourself. It begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself.
I work with adults (18+) navigating medical trauma, anxiety that won’t settle, depression that overstays its welcome, chronic health conditions, new diagnoses, and major life transitions. If your nervous system feels stuck on high alert — or completely shut down — you’re not broken. Your body has been trying to protect you.
Together, we help it learn a new way.
My mission is to help people reconnect to their bodies, to themselves, to others, and to the world around them so they can create a life they truly love, not just tolerate.
At the core of my work is a simple truth:
Underneath our unique wiring is a universal need for safety and connection.
This is the science of safety.
And the art of coming home to yourself.
My Mission

My Approach: Neuroscience-Informed & Body-First
Research shows that nearly 80% of communication to the brain comes from the body, and only about 20% flows from the brain to the body. That’s why talk therapy alone often isn’t enough.
I take a neuroscience-informed, body-first approach that integrates:
Neuroplasticity
Bottom-up processing
Polyvagal theory
Somatic practices
Breathwork and sensory tools
This work helps you:
Regulate your nervous system
Understand your unique stress responses
Build capacity for difficult emotions
Experience a foundational sense of “okayness”
Accumulate positive experiences safely
Move forward with greater resilience and connection
You’re not just learning techniques.
You’re learning how your specific nervous system works and how to work with it, not against it.
Because regulation isn’t about forcing calm.
It’s about ending the internal war.

Trauma-Informed & Individualized
Nothing here is one-size-fits-all.
Most therapists rely on one or two modalities. I weave together the full tapestry nervous system education, body-based practices, sensory anchoring, and embodied goal-setting always through a trauma-informed, invitational approach.
You won’t be pushed.
You won’t be pathologized.
You won’t be asked to override your instincts.
Instead, we decode your body’s language together.
When people understand their physiology and neurology, self-blame softens. What once felt like a flaw becomes information. That shift alone can be profoundly relieving.
Relief is what happens when the nervous system can finally stop bracing.
Stop performing.
Stop fighting itself.

A Little About Me
When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me:
Teaching, learning, or practicing yoga
Hiking or biking with my dogs
Near the water
Camping or traveling
Exploring on my motorcycle
My own lived experience informs my work. I don’t just teach these principles — I practice them. That bridge between theory and lived reality is what makes this work grounded, accessible, and deeply human.
